In many ways, Talenthub and Starred are a natural fit. We’re both committed to the same goals, we share a similar culture, and our teams and visions are highly complementary. Starred has continuously impressed us over the years, and we’re confident that our merger will help us revolutionize both Candidate Experience and recruitment in the coming years. By combining our strengths we believe that we can defy the odds and make 1 + 1 = 5.

Who is Starred? Starred is a leading Recruitment Analytics platform, founded by Lars van Wieren and Mark Berendsen in Amsterdam. Starred enables Talent Acquisition teams around the world to automatically gather and analyze real-time feedback from all key stakeholders in the recruiting process, including candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, new hires, and more. 

With a strong presence in the United States and a global customer base including key players such as Coca-Cola, Diageo, PwC, Deloitte, SoFi and many more, they continue to equip companies with the necessary insights to help identify new ways to optimize hiring outcomes and improve Candidate Experience, Hiring Team Experience, and Quality of Hire.

Why are you merging? We are merging because we believe that, together, we can accelerate the journey towards making candidate centricity the norm in recruitment.

By joining forces, we can combine our strengths, know-how and industry insights to expand our product offerings and help even more companies gain access to actionable data that will take their Candidate Experience to the next level.
What does this mean for Candidate Experience Analytics? This merger allows us to build the strongest Candidate Experience Analytics Platform on the market. Our datasets will double and our customers will have access to the world’s richest benchmark data. 
This empowers us to increase the depth of the insights that we provide to our customers, allowing them to hire even more efficiently. 

Additionally, pooling our resources lets us further accelerate development of new candidate-centric solutions.
Will you continue to have two feedback platforms? As excited as we are to continue developing together and soon provide you with many new services and areas of expertise, you will have uninterrupted access to Talenthub as you know it, until we are ready to introduce our joint solution.
What’s happening to the brands? For now, we’re keeping both brands. Of course, we’ll keep you updated in the future if anything changes. 
What’s the plan for the future? Although we are remaining as separate brands for the time being, the eventual long-term goal is to merge our product offerings. 
Where will the offices be located? Being the truly global company that we are, we will continue operations from our respective offices in Amsterdam and Copenhagen.

FAQ for Customers and Partners

What do I get out of this merger? We’ve heavily invested in our product throughout Talenthub’s lifetime and merging with Starred will not change this. Together, we’ll have even more resources and expertise to build the leading Candidate Experience SaaS tool of the future.

On a more practical level, customers and partners benefit from the merger because:
  • We are building the strongest Candidate Experience Analytics Platform on the market.
  • Our data sets have doubled, unlocking access to the world’s richest benchmark data and nuanced insights on how to improve hiring.
Are you building a new product? We are working towards creating a stronger, unified platform; leveraging the best of both Starred and Talenthub. We don’t have a set date for this yet. Rest assured that we’ll keep you informed of any developments.
Will my package change? No, your Talenthub package and setup remains the same. Should anything change, your Candidate Experience Manager will reach out to you.
Is my contact person different? The merger does not change the day-to-day operations of our platform. Your contact person will remain the same as we maintain our full Customer Support team here in Copenhagen.

We are always working on giving you the very best experience, and this might include some changes to the team. However, if your contact person should ever change for any reason, you will be notified ahead of time and we will make sure proper onboarding is done.
Do I still have access to my Talenthub data? Yes. With two great platforms coming together, changes are inevitable. However, we want to make sure your work in optimizing Candidate Experience remains unhindered. All your Talenthub data will remain in Talenthub and you can access it at any time.
Where is our data going to be stored?

Since you will be using the same solutions as before, the hosting location of your data remains the same as stated in your current agreement. You will be notified of any changes in advance.

What can we expect in the coming months? In short: business as usual. We are currently working hard to improve your product experience in the combined platforms. While this is going on, you should not experience any changes. 

In due time, you will see upgrades and changes in the platform as we begin rolling out our joint solution. Your Candidate Experience Manager will reach out to you regarding any potential changes to your current setup and ensure proper onboarding to upcoming features.
I am an ATS partner, how will our collaboration change? For the time being, we will continue to operate on your marketplace under our respective listings: Starred and Talenthub. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and taking it to the next level as we work towards making candidate-centric recruitment the norm for companies and candidates alike.
